In our city, we will take advantage of this opportunity, as many people from overseas wil be visiting Japan for Expo. And we will actively inform you that our city is "A city symbolizing 21st-Century Manufacturing "with a focus on industry.

Hamamatsu City has long been one of Japan's leading "manufacturing cities" .

As evidenced by its tre major industries -textile industry, instruments industry, transportation equipment industry-our city has developed technologies and skills born within the areas and produced world-leading companies. In recent years, high-technology such as photonics and electronics has also developed rapidly.

We would like to utilise the industries of Hamamatsu City, which have supported the region and Japan, as a tourism resources.
